Was it difficult to decide to leave D.C. and pivot towards Pier? I've enjoyed my time in Washington. It's an incredible honor to be able to serve our state in D.C. but I don't think anybody should go to Washington for 40 or 50 years, spend career out there. I've gone, I've given everything I've got.
