You know, we had different agencies and fire departments trying to talk to one another so they could coordinate their efforts, and they were unable to communicate. We learned from the wildfires and the panhandle...first responders were not able to communicate with each other because they had different equipment. They weren't on the same frequency. So we want to get a council to help get everybody together and then provide local grant funding so they have the equipment that's actually going to work when tragedy strikes. (00:42–01:02)
