Among the more than 30 bills State Representative Dustin Burroughs authored or co authored this session, two earned the attention of Lubbock voters more than any other. So I'm looking at realigning how we allocate the Puff fund or other funding to make sure Texas Tech is in that. After the University of Texas left the Big 12 Conference, Burroughs proposed legislation to overhaul the rules of the Permanent University Fund to make sure the $24 billion of West Texas oil money stays in West Texas.
