I knew I wanted to devote my life to advancing liberty however I could. And so that for me meant going into think tanks. I worked at the National Taxpayers Union. I saved taxpayers about $60 billion in my career. So I'm very proud of that, obviously. But when I was 24, I left my job in DC, lived in my car to get a think tank going, which is the Tennessee version of the Nevada Policy Research Institute. (08:05–08:09)
