And so there's been discussions about sales tax statewide, you know, in terms of having a separate pot of money that would address the need and in that the sales tax would have. Republicans are opting for a referendum, meaning that, you know, it has to come to the voters to be voted on. But for folks that tuned into the public hearing that happened last week on this bill alone, that even in some of the wild counties, they've tried to do it couple times and they couldn't even get it passed.
