So the way that the founding fathers designed our government was to have us closest to the people because we need to get reelected every two years and these guys every six years. So We are in touch with our districts, and we know intimately what takes place and how to pass legislation to make things easier for our constituents. a little bit better for everybody. So I'm incredibly proud to stand with these folks right now and bring back the power that we were given, that we have abdicated as a Congress and put it where it belongs. (01:16–01:26)
