We just learned this with our three brave soldiers that were killed earlier in Jordan. My other bill up for discussion today makes improvements to the Transition Assistance Program for service members leaving the military. This legislation would require data collection on the experience of transitioning service members. We need to have a better understanding of how we are preparing our military members and their families for civilian life. Certain branches are doing TAP better and certain groups within branches are doing TAP better. (02:01–02:07)
