Survivors have reported that their abusers have used connected vehicle services to track their movements, stalk them in real time, or remotely disable their vehicles. Yet today, There is no clear, consistent or confidential process for survivors to cut off an abuse's access to their vehicle services. 2024 I sent a letter to the FCC urging it to take proactive steps to address the threat of domestic abusers and exploiting connectivity tools and vehicles to harass and intimidate their partners.
