I came away recognizing how important it is and wanting to do all I can do as a US Senator to make sure these farms continue. We've lost something like 17% of our family farms in the last 15 years. We need to change that. I would be advocating an agenda that makes sure that we have free and fair relationships around the world, particularly with China, that we have policies to make sure agriculture producers compete on level playing fields.
