When done properly with like minded nations, free and fair trade can be great for all Americans and make us better off at home. But that's not the case with an adversary like China that doesn't play by the rules. The days of unbridled free trade and investment in China must end. And we need to focus on expanding our economic relationships with trusted partners based on fairness and reciprocity.
