The opioid epidemic is something that, as you know, started. Well, it didn't start, but it really came to fruition in Pennsylvania about 10 years ago. And in York county in particular, Opioid overdose deaths tripled in the course of one year [in York County]. And so ever since then, we have been diligently fighting the epidemic in York County. And so my philosophy of criminal justice is accountability and redemption. You have to have both. (02:05–02:12)
