Here in central Pennsylvania and at the age of 18, I went and joined the Navy right out of high school. I was enlisted, so I swabbed decks and I chipped paint. I was deployed all throughout the world. I was in the Persian Gulf for Desert Strike and I also served in Central and South America doing counter drug operations. I came home from my deployment after four Years of active duty, and I started working at ups. (02:59–03:06)
