Attorney General Sunday Announces Charges Against State College-Area Drug-Trafficking Organization

Published | Video Starts at 07:00

These charges were the result of a long term investigation between the Office of Attorney General, Bureau of Narcotics Investigation, State College Police Department and a pair of statewide investigating grand juries impaneled by my office. What we learned during this investigation was that Between 2023 and 2024, large amounts of cocaine kilos were brought from Philadelphia and New York to State College where they were cut and packaged for sale primarily to Penn State students. The two main dealers, the top of the chain, if you will, were senior members of the Delta Upsilon and Sigma Chi fraternities. Agostino Abbatiello was at the very top of the chain. (07:00–07:14)

CLAIM

Asserts that cocaine was trafficked from Philadelphia and New York to State College for distribution to Penn State students between 2023 and 2024.
