So yesterday, President Trump announced a 90 day pause on Liberation Day tariffs for most US trading partners, choosing negotiation over escalation while also ratcheting pressure up on China. Now, the President Trump is still imposing a 10% reciprocal tariff on more than 75 countries. a measure that would presumably be lifted after negotiating a more favorable trade deal for the United States.
