Before that, we elected a former Republican, and we got the results of a former Republican. If we take control of everything apocalyptic house, If we don't repeal right to work immediately, if we don't restore the prevailing wage, if we don't protect women's right to choose, if we don't pass the Elliot Larson's Civil Rights act protections, if we don't enshrine voting rights... These are not radical ideas. These are the ideas that a majority of Michiganders want. They're what we stand for. And so I have high hopes that in this next election, we have an amazing opportunity to take it all back and really fundamentally change what Michigan is. (11:33–11:58)
