But probably the most important piece of legislation to me that I've ever authored as a state representative was a piece of legislation called Molly Jane's Law. Molly J. Mathison was a constituent of mine who was brutally murdered two years ago. We passed a piece of legislation that now sits on the governor's desk waiting for his signature that hopefully will keep the predators off the streets of Texas.
