This session my goal was to make life better for Wisconsinites. I introduced 61 bills. 40 of them passed the state senate and of course with the current governor there were vetoes. He [Governor Evers] vetoed school curriculum transparency, a bill that simply allowed parents to see what their kids are being taught in the classroom. He vetoed my election integrity bill which would have cleaned up Wisconsin voter rolls. He vetoed the foreign influence bill that would have stopped the UW system from entering research contracts with countries that are hostile to the United States. (00:13–00:21)
