But right now the only way we change that is having Democrats in Congress because every Republican is on the record for voting in favor of partisan gerrymandering and every Democrat voted against it. And so We have to take control of the House and the Senate so that we can pass fair voting maps for all of America. and end this race to the bottom. That will ultimately undermine our democracy and in the case of African Americans, will desecrate the martyrs that died for the rights that we see the Supreme Court now eroding. (07:44–07:51)
