We still have a fight there, but to me, we have to ban gerrymandering and we have to ban nationwide. I was part of passing a bill when I was in Congress out of the House that banned gerrymander and required every state to have nonpartisan independent commissions to draw their districts. We couldn't get it to the Senate because of a couple of senators there who decided the filibuster was more important than voting rights. (18:21–18:30)
