In 1993, 1994, I'm the author of the assault weapons ban. And we've been waiting and waiting for the politicians to catch up with the public who's overwhelmingly on our side. The power of the NRA is enormous, and particularly in rural states and communities. And you just gotta keep at it and at it and at it. I hope we'll vote on some of these measures again.
