I rise today to celebrate and honor the loss of a public servant, first responder and beloved member of my Western Pennsylvania community, Anthony Tonicuda, Chief of Foxwell Emergency Medical Services since August 2020, Chief Kuta was a titan in the EMS scene. He joined Swissvale Fire Department at 16, became a paramedic by 18 and worked as a first responder for Seneca Area EMS in Wilkinsburg, Monroeville, Penn Hills and other parts of Western Pennsylvania.
