During the 84th session, I found a solution and worked on a bill that would address that issue. The purpose of the Veteran Entrepreneur Program is to foster and promote veteran entrepreneurship throughout Texas. Reports indicate since its creation, The Veteran Entrepreneur Program has provided services to more than 2,000 aspiring veteran entrepreneurs. Observers note that Texas Veterans Commission intends to implement the program in phases. House Bill 1484 revises the law relating to the program in an effort to allow for the continued implementation of the program. (02:05–02:14)
