The Western Caucus is, I think, the second largest caucus in Congress. And just yesterday, I was elected to be the new chair of the caucus. Western Caucus brings together lawmakers who understand the unique challenges and opportunities facing Western states and rural America. It focuses on issues that directly affect communities in Utah. Responsible energy development, multiple use of public lands, active forest management, protecting water rights, supporting agriculture and ranching, and making sure main streets are healthy in rural America.
