A lot of the legislation I've worked on is because of the work my firefighters and I have done together to address their needs. But I was home just recently looking at one of our fires in Nevada, which is The Davis fire, which was up kind of outside of Lake Tahoe area in Washoe Valley. And they were talking about the challenges of just one hiring firefighters and getting them onboarded to make sure that we're paying them enough and that they have housing. (03:22–03:29)
