I come from a family as blue collar as it gets. My great grandfather and grandfather worked in the brickyard here. My dad was a construction worker. My mom has been with the U.S. Postal Service for 48 years, serving communities all over the Hudson Valley. And so I come from a deep family tradition of working hard and serving people and having the courage to stand up and fight for what is right. (00:47–00:55)
