People will follow the law if they truly believe the laws are just. People will listen to institutions if they feel that the institutions are honorable and have their best interests at heart. But When you lie to people about social distancing and masks and COVID 19, when you weaponize, assist the Department of Justice against your political rival, when you basically try to weaponize and increase massive amounts of IRS agents just to get everybody's change out of their couch cushions to feed it into a federal government, 10,000 more IRS money from what? It just wastes money on top of waste of money. People lose respect, they lose trust. And when you lose that, you can't have a society. (59:24–59:47)
