And so the threat of a shutdown is unproductive. At an absolute minimum, we should pass a continuing resolution. And in fact, The House passed complete funding for the entire fiscal year in a bipartisan vote. So at the end of the day, what we need to see is Senate Democrats come to the table to make sure that we can get 60 votes in the Senate, fund this for the full year, allow cooler heads to prevail.
