For the first time in history, this action plan served as the launch point for USDA to work in further unison with governors, state legislators and other partners such as the Department of Justice to integrate agriculture into broader national security efforts over the coming months and years. We have already begun working with state partners in Oklahoma, Texas, Arkansas and beyond to take swift legislative and executive action to to end the purchase of American farmland by foreign adversaries.
