I want to switch gears to the home front. I have an exciting update on my bill honoring law enforcement officers and first responders who are killed in the line of duty. The National Police association has endorsed the Medal of Sacrifice Act. The association gave a great statement of support saying the act provides a meaningful way to pay tribute to those heroes as well as honor their families who have sacrificed everything and continue to experience unimaginable grief.
