Otherwise, it's that same question that you have to ask jurors. Can you set your personal opinions and views aside and hear the case? Why should voters believe that you can police yourself? The whole reason I got in this race is to try to restore objectivity to the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Part of what caused me to jump in this race was seeing how a Justice candidate promised how to rule on cases and then said they'd consider recusing if that came up on the campaign trail.
