We have child care deserts in this state senate district and around the state, but yet the legislature does not meet. We have a situation in which we have high gas prices and high grocery prices. The legislature does not meet. We can do an awful lot better. I've been calling out my colleagues saying let's get busy, let's get back to work. When we get called into special session, they adjourn.
