Thank you, Brad Path. I was the first Wisconsin state senator to call ask Governor Evers to call us as legislature back into special session to address this issue. Not only do we need to codify Roe v. Wade at the federal level, it needs to be done at the state level. As a result of the inaction of the Republican majority in the Wisconsin state legislature, we now have an 1849 law put in place in the state of Wisconsin. (43:49–43:55)
