“My family's been farming in that area since they first came to this country in the mid-1800s. I've always been interested in agriculture, but particularly agriculture, public policy. And I am proud to say that I serve in the state Senate as a result of agriculture. It is the values, traditions of agriculture that help pave my path to the state legislature.
