Right now we have a chronic absenteeism crisis, and some of that's mental health, but some of that is immigrant families afraid to send their kids to school. So We're going to have bilingual social workers and attendance teachers go out and talk to those families. and let them know they're safe in our public schools, they're safe in our hospitals.
