So the question here is, what is the NYPD's role in protecting federal law enforcement as they undertake some of these deportation actions? I mean, According to New York City sanctuary city laws, if someone has been convicted of a serious or violent offense, that's when New York City cooperates with ICE or other federal authorities. But if they have not, then we are not supposed to be cooperating. ICE is busy denying people due process. I saw it with my own eyes. (00:57–01:08)
