I understand that I'm appointed by Republican, but this is not a Republican or Democrat thing. This is not a partisan issue. I'm here for the people of El Paso. I'm here because Victims have gone months and months and months without having their cases addressed. Because a DA wasn't available to look at their case here, because defendants sat in jail for months at a time without having their cases looked at and then are released from jail without any conditions of bond.
