Trump won Tarrant county by 17 points in the 2024 election, but a Democrat just won Tarrant county by 14 points. It's a 31 point swing from the end of 2024 to the beginning of 2026 in southeast Texas. In Brazoria county, another very red Republican MAGA County, a Democrat, Quentin Wilts, just won mayorship of Pearland, Texas in Brazoria County. That just happened a couple of weeks ago. So in the polling, in the actual elections where voters demonstrate their preference, and overwhelmingly in those constituencies, Mexican American Latino voters are voting for the Democrat and not voting for the President's party.
