We had come off of the war in Vietnam some years before and basically it was an attempt to involve people in the political process to revitalize American democracy. And one of the accomplishments that I am most proud of in my life is Between my first and second term, we came close to doubling voter turnout. Wow. How's that? That's pretty incredible.
