At the same time, they gerrymandered our maps to high heaven, locking in conservative majorities from Congress to the state legislature. They passed voter suppression laws that had a massive terrible effect on especially young voters and black voters, which was the intent, as a whistleblower later revealed. Uh, it was a, a full court press and then within government agencies they were throwing out the, you know, nonpartisan civil servants. They were clamping down on the use of any language.
