I think it's been like, great for democracy in places like Maine and Alaska where, where you've seen that play out electorally. Um, one of the good things about Ranked choice voting encourages a level of civility because if someone's not your supporter, you still have an incentive to try to earn their second place support. One of the poisonous dynamics in American politics is that on the Republican side, the strategy is generally turn out our base voters, try to persuade some other voters, and then suppress everybody else.
