We've seen this happen in other cities around the country where they got busted lying or recategorizing certain crimes and putting them in different categories so they wouldn't be reported the same way to make it artificially look like crime had gone down. And the difference here is one party really fights crime and goes after the criminals and wins, and the other one says, when you do a crime, we'll make it look safer by altering the numbers.
