And that's why US Senator Ashley Moody has introduced a bill that would take money from big private universities and colleges and give it to technical colleges like this one. The TRADES act would take from elite universities that have billions of dollars in endowments and tax those at a at a fair rate and redirect some of that money to our trade education in Florida. That could include schools like the University of Miami and the University of Tampa. In the last five years, Florida has added over 10% more manufacturing jobs as areas like ours continue to grow.
