This funding was owed to these hospitals under the president's emergency declaration. And my administration worked hard to get this money in. The more than $18 million announced today builds on news I shared in May. That's when we secured an initial $105 million for those hospitals. These reimbursements were costs associated with patient care, materials and supplies, ppe, emergency protective measures, medications, and more. I believe healthcare is a basic human right and everybody out there should be able to see a doctor in their own community. (15:39–15:46)
