On July 1, the current gas tax is 26.4 cents per gallon. On July 1, it's expected to rise to about 27 cents per gallon. That increase may seem small, but it adds up quickly. By freezing the gas tax to its current rate, we can save Kentuckians $1.7 million each month combined. But freezing the gas tax isn't enough, not when gas is so expensive. So today I'm signing an executive order declaring a state of emergency related to gas prices. (10:49–10:57)
