We were the first big state, changed the whole conversation in the country about it. Raised the minimum wage to the highest in the United States of America. Gave people a different life, raising that minimum wage. Free college for middle class people, scholarships for middle class families. Generations went to college that wouldn't be able to afford it, you know, so it gives you a tremendous opportunity to do good. And that I find rewarding. (21:10–21:17)
