So we have to stay vigilant because of the rules of the Senate. Whether you like the filibuster or not, the rules are still in place. As long as we are united as Democrats in not allowing the SAVE act to come up for a vote, it should not see the light of day in the Senate. So that is in some ways a safeguard. But we can't take anything for granted. I'm also countering their proposals with more proactive ideas on how we strengthen our democracy. (04:21–04:31)
