As to the SAVE Act, I think it's very important for folks to realize that in Arizona, we have had a documented proof of citizenship requirement in law for over 20 years, and we still haven't got it completely right. And that is because Even when you have very restrictive laws like this that make it harder and harder for US Citizens to vote, we're finding that without the appropriate resources to educate the voting public and to make sure that the systems themselves run well, you're going to have issues. And some eligible US Citizens may be denied the right to vote. That's a problem. But it's exacerbated by this fallacious mythology that there are thousands, if not millions of ineligible voters voting. (11:50–12:10)
