Neither party has a monopoly on good ideas, and both parties have some really, really horrible ideas. And both parties are responsible for $35 trillion in debt. We have a $2 trillion deficit just on an annual basis. Thirty years ago, we actually had a little bit of a surplus. We need to figure out over the long haul.
