I'm here tonight because rural Colorado has been left behind, ignored. Over the past few years, I've driven almost 70,000 miles through cd three. I have toured well over 100 small businesses, nonprofits, healthcare centers, and attended numerous water and mining conferences, cattlemen and farm bureau meetings. The number one thing I hear, regardless of partisanship, age or background, is that everyone feels forgotten, misunderstood and taken advantage of by Denver and DC. (04:17–04:28)
